Rifle Scopes Why not Minox?

German glass, US made, nqa warranty.

I know they aren't en vogue and they don't have ZS or HS or dubba, dubba doo, but I am curious.

6-30 and 4-20 x56s would suit many needs her I should think.

Thoughts?

Other than the 6-30 model, I think they're all 1" tubes. Reticles appear limited to a plex reticle or a type of BDC reticle.

Most on this site prefer the additional elevation and windage adjustment you normally get from a 30mm or larger tube. They also prefer exposed turrets with mil adjustments. And some need/want an illuminated reticle, FFP and mil-dot or other type of graduated reticle.

This site caters to the tactical community. I'm sure the Schott glass in Minox scopes is excellent, and they appear to be a good value for a quality hunting scope. But most guys here are looking for different features. Of course, just a few years ago you'd have been hard pressed to even find a tactical scope that offered mil-mil and FFP.

What's "in" changes.

Yeah, only the 6-30 is 30mm and has 1/4moa. ....only a "bdc" style reticle too

The "no questions asked" warranty which covers damage other than "intentional" intrigued me too.

I found a 1.5-8 model from one of the vendors here used for display. Very good price for the quality. It's now atop Grandpa's Model 70. I also like the little spotters too.
