apex is not a true 3 lug, they have 2 in front and one in rear. still 90 degree bolt throw.

pgw is same thing 3 lugs but still 90 degree bolt throw

Bolt lift measured with a Lyman Digital trigger pull gauge.

Remington 700 .308WIN with 2000+ rounds through it: approx 10.5lbs

AI AE MkII .308WIN with 200+ rounds through it: approx 11.5lbs

The 60* lift has more benefit that drawback.
