I let my membership with the NRA lapse and I just sent in payment for a membership with the GOA. I sent an email to the NRA BOD telling why I am not renewing my membership. Lapierre, Cox and Hammer need to go before I come back.

Agreed. Irrelevant on most topics too. They use members numbers as the backing but I don't think you'll find supporting numbers to be what is claimed. I became a life member years ago when I felt proud of what they have done. It is sad to see what they've become.
The NRA has become like a TV evangelist : "Send me your money, or terrible things will happen." I quit wasting my money on the NRA several years ago.
Seeing as the topic has been sorta-sidelined, I'm asking "why is it" that we have to wait until NOW, to hear about "the other side of the story" regarding the Bundy's, and whatnot.
Hell, there's been many different things on tv and 'documentaries' and whatnot,,, and yet todays story (not a negative statement) is different than anything that I'd seen so far.
Yes, I'm an outsider. Yes, I'm also a former NRA member. But hell yes, if I had the extra money I'd be a GOA member. As it is at the moment, I don't even know if we'll be renewing our NFA membership. (Don't get excited, that's the National Firearms Association that we have up here)

Having a hard time supporting you all when you support anti gun actions including the bump stock. I think I might give my money to a more effective organization. Tell that pussy Marine Ollie North to grow a pair and start fighting for gun owners.
