I have a Mini Fortune Cookie with the black Non-Skid but looking to get a Tater Tot. I like the. Non-Skid but curious on the feedback of not having it and if there is an advantage.

Get the one without. It’s an advantage. More pliable, forms better to barricades/the gun. It’s better.

I completely agree, the tater tot with no non skid once it gets broken in is an amazing bag. U can just settle your gun down in it so well.

I have one of each, an MFC with nonskid panel and a Puppy (smaller tator tot) without. I never use the MFC anymore. The difference is noticeable and it’s the same texture no matter how I use it, which I like. I’d also look for one with no logo embroidery if you can, for the same reason.

I waxed mine with otter wax. I have not had any issues with it ripping although it comes with a disclaimer that basically says the fabric is perishable and can’t be expected to last forever. I think the problem is if you get the fabric light enough to be really malleable to different shaped objects then it is light enough that it’s not going to last forever. So far, so good.

Cool and makes sense. The lightness of the bag is what made me nervous but excited. On a bar of OW ready as I’ve used it for my other bags.

The additional width is what made me want the TT so we will see.

I haven’t seen the puppy… the MFC I have is the same as the tater tot (I think) but 1.5” wider.

What’s the puppy?

Awww I see now. The puppy is the whiskey Charlie Mini Fortune Cookie with out the skid.

I have the same with skid. 7.5 pounds

I started with a WC MFC from short action precision. It is their heavy fill model, has the non stick and some kind of heavy duty textured waxed canvas. I can assure you, heavier duty fabric is not an improvement. If/when I tear a hole in this one, I’ll probably try the tator tot.

I have pretty much have all the bags and wanted to try the Tater Tot without the skid but didn’t want to order another one. So I ended up getting an AG Shmedium Plus One Plus One from JC. It’s practically same size as the Tater and you can adjust the fill.
