For those that have used both the Fortune Cookie and the Original Gamechanger what are your impressions?

Heard a few people say they really like the Fortune Cookie but never had a chance to see one or use one. I like the Original gamechanger vs the new gamechanger but the originals are hard to find.

    Thanks!

I really think it is 1/2 dozen this way 1/2 dozen that way. I own the newer gamechanger but have had the opportunity to get behind a couple original gamechangers and once a fortune cookie.

I know people will scream blasphemy, but I really like the newer gamechanger size. The reason is on the stages where you have to shoot through cutouts or off cattle gate, the smaller gamechanger is easier to maneuver and situate, plus it doesn't slouch as much. The area that the original gamechanger excels in is the tank traps and anything that has a larger girth to it like a log or tire. Everyone is different but for me I am able to get solid positions on logs/tires/tank traps but need the extra help on the cattle gates and cutouts.

I really liked the fortune cookie and given more time spent it might have been my choice.

In the end I really think it comes down to practicing with whatever you got. I do not think one or the other will make or break you. If possible go to a local match and try them out.

By far the best bag I have ever purchased, hands down. The fill is excellent, balancing weight and stability very well. Rubberized sections exactly where you need them. No straps or things to get in the way (If straps are your thing they do make one with). Cheaper in price but definitely not in build quality. And Free name or callsign on the handle.

I looked at their site but they are out of commission for a while due to illness

If the grippiness is what you like on the Gecko, you could use plasti-dip on the gamechanger.

There was a thread on here not too long ago about the original gamechanger and how someone had put plasti-dip on it. I took a picture but cannot find the thread. I think it was someone from Accurate Ordance if I remember correctly. See pic below.

I have an original gamechanger and had someone sew some gripteck onto the top and the saddle portion of the bag. It looks very similar to the Gecko II recommended farther up.

The straps on the new game changer are a "game changer" for stages with quick times. I used it for a gas gun match and it was a big advantage over having to carry your rifle in one hand and the bag in the other.
