But seriously...reports are saying the Ecuador Government has made a deal with UK that he is not to be extradited to any country with death penalty. So the only way USA is going to see him is to black bag him somehow.

Or as they tried to do with a plane they thought Snowden was on, see if one of their "allies" can try to force the plane he is on to land in a country where they have a kidnap operation setup.

They wanna make an example of him, that if you uncover and expose corruption in high lever American govt., that you're gonna pay for it, citizen or not. Well he filed suit against Ecuador last October for violating his "fundamental rights and freedom."
He also leaked photos of Ecuador President, His wife, and children in some very private settings.
Well that is the Ecuador side...in reality it seems to be going back to the "Panama Papers" as some new document leaks are linked to Ecuador President himself.

You can’t gather defense intelligence if you have a snowflake like Snowden that takes it upon himself to dump data. Virtually none of what he exposed had anything to do with political malfeasance, and it didn’t change basic policies, it just put a lot of people and things at risk. You can debate whether the metadata program started after 9/11 that he compromised was unconstitutional but I don’t think so.

Plus Assange did no hacking and merely posted things sent to him. SCOTUS precedent during the Pentagon Papers fiasco was going on is that the wapo was not liable for publishing leaks. Period.
