Hi all. I'm interested in the Wilcox RAPTAR S version with the ballistics calibrator built in to it and would like to see from end users if there are any how it performs and are there any other alternatives? I'm aware or the Silencerco Radius and I like it but there isn't a ballistic setting to the current version. Is there anything else on the market that is weapon mountable that I'm missing ? Before you all jump and say use a dope card or learn your drops my main use will be in the dark so I can't see my card and between switching back and forth form 6.5 CM and a short 308 I can't remember all the drops for both. I also have never the best at using the mills to judge distance, that is one of my weak points, which I'm practicing on now. Any recommendations fellas? Thanks.

You can get it at prgdefense from when I talked to them a few months back. Just doesn't come with the Class 3 IR laser of course. They 1-2 available.
They actually advised to just go with the Wilcox (non AB intergrated model) with the AB REM-100 as it was the same thing but cheaper though it is 2 separate items vs all in one unit in the ballistic calculator integrated Raptar.
The only issue was how you input profiles into the integrated BC Raptar version. I saw mention that you could do it with the AB tactical app but thats just for Mil/LE, think they said you can connect it to the kestrel. But you have to confirm that....

So i had a few minuets to call Applied Ballistics about the REM 100 and apparently it's discontinued. The man mentioned a 200 series that incorporated a scope mount. Sounds like less wires , still he had no price and didn't know if it is in stock. They did mention a prototype third gen coming some time..... I am looking at the Wilcox Es and at one time they were on sale for $4300, but now can't find one under MSRP. It sounds like having a LRF weapon mountable and able to handle recoil and to be repeatable is hard and expensive. All of the features the S version is nice. I didn't have any time to call PRG and ask about how one goes about loading profiles into the Wilcox. Thanks for the points to ask them.

Last year at SHOT they had the Wilcox ES, REM-100 and LaRue Mount going for like 6k together and that was about the same price they gave me.
Yeah, think it would be better Co-align with a Spotter vs a rifle as you don't know how well it'll hold zero with the recoil.
I'd just get a Kilo2400 AB if you don't want to get a vectronix unit.
