Does anybody have an "in" on Wild Things Tactical gear or does anyone know where you can find a decent price? I have never wore this gear; however, it appears to be pretty nice. I would love to have any feedback from any users as well.

Thank you for your time,

Dusty

Re: Wild Things Tactical Gear

I have 2 of there jackets and they are made really well. I have no complaints because they make good stuff and everything is made in the USA including the boxes they ship them in. I have had there softshell for almost a year and I just recently bought a hardshell. I just ordered off of there website I believe.

Re: Wild Things Tactical Gear

I have used WT gear since the 80s and may possible have used every piece they offer and some they do not. I use to have an inside on WT but Titoune/Maria and JB split up. JB stitched me up a one off Andinista backpack which has no peer for a backpack for any use to include tactical. WT Makalu parka is still considered the warmest parka ever made. I had one and yes it was too warm even for Alaska so I went with the Denali that I tested and helped name late 80s. WT windshirt is one piece that I will never do with out. I have a one off bivy sack liner that has kept me warm inside a bivy sack/Andinista into the 20s yet weighs under a pound. EP jacket is another favorite piece.

WT softshell while I have not worn it for 10 years, the pre-production I had was sized on the small side. The face fabric had too much friction for me to wear over base layer like Patagonia Capeline, bind and hinder movement. This is where the windshirt is golden wearing it over base layer and under softshell.

It is outstanding kit even for the price that just about everything else on the market cannot compare even the highly touted dead bird. Integral Designs out of Calgary Canada is another one of my highly used and recommended company. Evan the owner stitched up more one off customer kit for me than any other company I used or dealt with.

good luck

Mike, Your climbing clothing and other soft goods have alweays been A+. I grew up climbing in New England and have a closet full of your stuff which I still use now in CO. Great move into Tactical! You might consider a sponsorship on the Hide or offering Hide members some sort of coupon code - bet you'd see a nice return! Contact Lowlight or another Admin if you'd like... Good luck!

Got some wt multi cam gear through Grady. He is good people. They are a good company to work with USA made high quality stuff. I had some sizing issues and they were quick to return and ship on their dime. Can't say enough good about wt.
