will 1-12 twist stabilize 210 amax. Just thinking about buying a kimber tactical in 300 winmag and I am a little concerned. I know 1-10 is I deal but they don't make this gun in that.

They don't make a 210 AMAX? I assume you mean 208 gr. The recommended twist for that bullet is 1:10, as you stated. You can try a stability calculator and see: http://www.bergerbullets.com/litz/TwistRuleAlt.php
I would guess Kimber designed that rifle to shoot lighter hunting bullets, but then again I don't know why you wouldn't just go with a 1:10 twist.
I shoot the 208 AMax from a couple of 1/12 twist 308's. They shoot quite well. They should be stable at 300 WinMag speeds.
