Will a Proof Sendero barrel fit in a Medium Palma inlet?

I've looked at the spec sheets and it looks like this is a 'no'. Has anyone done this, or sanded open their stock to fit - if you've sanded yours open how much material removal is it?

I have a manners with a light Palma inlet. Threw a sendero in it. Only had to open it up slightly. Didn’t take long at all

A dowel and some sandpaper will fix it in a few minutes.
