Palmetto just delivered my complete upper with 18" FN CHF chrome lined 223 Wylde 1 in 8 bbl with rifle length gas system, pinned gas block and Giesselle 15" MLOC handguard. I have read everyone's recommendations and advice. So, I will be taking several different buffers to the range with me today. The majority of you recommend the standard carbine buffer so I will start with that one. I will report back.

I have an 18” Rainier Arms FN CHF with rifle length gas that runs very smooth with a full auto carrier and an H buffer. It’s a 1-7 5.56 though.
