Hello Guys,

I have a Sandman L and when I use it with my rifle my grouping became worse from 1-2MOA to 5-6MOA. My gunsmith do not see any baffle strike.
Without the suppressor it went to 1-2MOA.

Today I use my HuxWrx Flow on the same rifle , ammo , distance and firing range my grouping was 1-2MOA

What could be the problem with the Sandman L?

Yup harmonics. The suppressors weigh different amounts so effect harmonics differently. Just looked and Sandman L is 21.8 ounces and the HuxWrx Flow 7.62 is 11.8. Big difference and can effect differently.

I've seen poi shifts sure but not group size increasing at all with my personal setups and I have 20 something barrels with mounts on them. Had a buddy who seen his groups increase in size with a yhm mount system. 1-1.5moa to around 3moa.

I'd say the can/mount is loose or the bullets are just grazing the end cap.

Absolutely!
And different suppressors will change the poi as well.
I was running a 36 Omega on my SR15
Got my OCL Polonium a couple weeks ago and put it on today.
All my shots shifted to the right a good 1.5 moa or so.
Easy enough to fix, but that’s need to know info

It could open up depending on the setup and how much crap is in the suppressor too. On my 300NM initially I had my Hybrid 45 on the rifle direct thread. Shot fine, no issues. Then I put the brake and Keymo mount on the can and the groupings went to shit. Put everything back to direct thread and it shot fine again. Have since abandoned using that suppressor for that caliber and now run a TBAC Gen 2 338 Ultra SR. I also recently had 300WM start to shoot a legit 5-6" group. Swapped scope, barrel, moved the barrel to another gun, still had the same issues. Had TBAC look it over, checked internally for any strikes, none to be found, they ran it on the lathe to check for run out and within specs. Had them clean it and was also doing a upgrade on another one of my suppressors. The cleaning fixed it. I'm thinking with the years and years of shooting the Ultra 9, the carbon built up enough to effect the harmonics to start effecting the accuracy of the rifle.

Also had another rifle that I put on a Fat Bastard brake on the end of the barrel and the accuracy went to shit also.

I read a few account about the Sandman L having bad group when I googled it.
At 50 Yards my Sandman group at 1-2MOA but once I get to 100 yards my group is all over the target with a 2 or 3 flyers.
I love my Sandman L suppression is pretty good I hope Dead Air can fix this anomaly.

Check for end cap strikes. Inspect the target impacts for any sign that the bullets are unstable when they impact. Oblong holes, even only subtly, might indicate that the bullets are impacting the can as they exit.
