Will Tikka MPA Stock fit Sako A7?

Hey all, just getting into things here I purchased the Sako A7 long range in 308win. I am looking at putting a chassis on it for ease of shooting. Not much that I can find for stock for the sako, and it seems that the sako and the tikka seem to be very similar receivers so my question is will the mpa short action chassis work on the a7? I plan on contacting MPA this next week but thought I might check with you all first. Thanks!

It will not fit unfortunately. It's not even close. The A7 is vastly different than a T3.
Edit to add: Not speaking for MPA here, just speaking from experience working on an A7 chassis.

Are there any companies that make chassis for the sako that you know of Justin?

Sadly none that I know of. We worked on one years ago but there was a lot of hang-up, then they stopped importing short actions altogether. A big issues if I remember is the magwell being slim and small, limiting the mag selection to an AI AE mag (old single stack .308 mag) plus there's a piece bolted onto the bottom of the action for the Sako mag that is a real bear to remove. If you want a chassis, your best bet will be to swap out the A7 for a T3 as far as I know.
Good luck, it's a nice rifle but not supported by the aftermarket like the T3.
