From a series of emails between myself & Wilson concerning their FL bushing & mandrel expansions dies, the guy at Wilson told me that the top piece of the expander die will screw into the FL Bushing die.
That got me to thinking......
I wonder if we could use a Wilson FL bushing die with the bushing removed &, replaced with the expander mandrel to see if it's possible to accomplish FLS while keeping the neck/shoulder junction from impinging into the neck ID. This would necessitate a separate neck sizing operation but, may obviate the need for a seperate expanding operation.
I'm requesting owners to carry out some trials to see if this is possible.
Any you guys who own these dies want to give this a try?
