Gunsmithing Win Mod 70 Clasic Feather weight Action?

I have and opertunity to buy one at a good price. Is the action on the Winchester model 70 classic featherweight rifles the same as a standard Winchester M70 classic action, or is the action on the Featherweight models lightened? I want to build a heavey varmiter and am wondering if this action is strong enough?

It will work just fine, and no they are not lightened that refers to the stock and barrel contour.
