Winchester 223 vs 556 brass

I've got a mix of Winchester brass that I want to load near book max for 556.

Winchester 223
Win 556
WC 556

Should I separate out the 223 or is it all the same?

Yes separate and use the 5.56 brass along with a 5.56 chamber.

You need to separate by case capacity.

You could roll the dice and not check and just load them all up... You might be fine, or blow a gun up.

I feel its foolish to not check case capacity on different head stamps. Especially when mixing 556 and 223 sized cases.
