Winchester AutoComp for 9mm

I realize winchester autocomp was made for pistols with compensators, but how does it shoot in normal 9mm barrels? Is it more snappy/produce heavier recoil or does it just turn that extra gas into velocity?

I've loaded Autocomp in 9 and 45.
Not the highest velocity and not really any more gas noticed.

I don't need super high velocity. I'm looking to send an everglades 124gr fmj between 1050-1150fps.

I’m using it in a 9 major comp pistol.You should be able to get that velocity with under 5 grains easy.Id start around 4 gn and work up with a chrono
