Ok so after a few reloads on my Lapua .260 brass I had to switch primers and only had a box of Winchesters around. I had never tried them before. So I seated them and most were loose, I thought that perhaps my brass had seen it's end on it's third load? Was I blowing my brass out? So after firing that brass loaded with the Win primers I tried the cases out again with some Federal and all was good. Primers fit nice and tight. It's possible that Win primers are super soft?

Winchester Large Rifle primers are on the smaller side compared to CCI and Federal.

    While its unrelated...

Watch for blow outs on the radius. I have three different lots that are bad, about 3800 worth of unusable WLR's, purchased from 2008-2012. If it happens to you, you may think at first you had a hot load... but it’s been tracked down to factures in the cup at the radius that when pressurized form a nice bolt face scaring hole. Best case, you will have a scar on your bolt face, worse case it may lodge your ejector in the down position on a R700 making your repeater into a single shot... I have yet to figure out a way to free mine, BTW. :(
