I bought a box of these for deer hunting and was wondering what the silver cases were made of. And also, whether they can be reloaded or not? Thanks!

The nickel plating will flake off after a few fireings. Trash 'em when this happens so your dies don't get f'd up.

What he said, or you could just save yourself the hassle and pitch them to begin with. You will understand why when you trim them.

But don't anneal them. Nickel hardens when you heat/quench it so it would have the opposite effect to what you'd intended.

I ruined a bunch of .243 brass to learn that.
