why doesnt US Optics?

just curious sure it will raise the price but it might be the cats ass! build it into a ST17x for me please!

Ya only need to put "HD" in the name if you have multiple glass lines in your product. US Optics uses only Schott glass I believe, it is better than most all "HD" glass. There is the other issue of properly using the glass (alignment, design, etc) that also affect optical clarity though.
