Won't read another gun magazine!

Has anyone ever seen a bad review of a gun in a gun magazine?

A recent Gun Digest listed the handgun bayonet as one of the "Must Have" gun accessories for 2010.

Wasting my money.

I have a love hate thing with those magazines. They were responsible for my love of firearms as a kid, but they also have to whore themselves out to keep printing. Bad reviews mean no revenue from the firearm manufacturers that get the hit with a bad review. Just look and take them all with a grain of salt and hope it will corrupt some young kid into liking fishing, hunting, and shooting.

I really don't pay attention too much over their reviews. In my experience, it's actual range time that dictates how I feel about a particular firearm. Not what others write in a magazine. I do kind of get annoyed when I have read articles about wildcat cartridges and the author really has no clue because they don't know much about it.

I can't blame you here. I've seen some bad reviews of products, only to see the writers pimp a worse one. They are especially bad when it comes to optics.

Boycotted them long ago, and haven't regretted it for a minute.

Crap. I just checked the safe. All my handguns seem to have the bayonet lug removed. They must be post-ban.
