I have always been a shotgun and pistol guy but have been bitten by the Precision Rifle bug. Witnessed my first match today and know I will get involved in competition at some point ... I always do. I previously put together a nice 223 Varmint gun and then a great shooting AR-10 NAtional Match (308) that I absolutely love. But I wasn't satisfied so I found a Remington Sendero in 300 Win Mag (heavy fluted barrel) and took it to my basement for a makeover. Here is what I ended up with:
Specs:
Remington Long Action Sendero in 300 Win Mag
Timney Trigger
Holland spring kit
APA Little Bastard muzzle brake (threading by Jojo's Gunworks)
McMillan A5 stock in black/tan/green bought used on the 'Hide
Wyatt's Bottom Metal
Harris Bipod
Nightforce Rail
Valdada Rings
Vortex PST 6-24 x 50
CeraKoted in Tactical Grey by 'Hide member RugerSlinger
Going to bed the stock after I shoot it a few times.
I am now waiting for a custom Stiller action for another rifle build ... this one in 6.5 Creedmoor. Can't wait!
Color me "HOOKED"!
