Got out to my land on Sat, despite the wind, to spend some quality time with my boy. Can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday. I've set up a 500 yrd course with 10 steels from 150 to 500. We've got an A frame @100 for sighting and a tall target @ 300 for ladder testing. It's a boatload of fun, my son was taking the 22 out to 300. I could actually see the bullet dropping in, not the trace, but the bullet.
WhiskeyWeber chronoing his 6xc loads. I was impressed with the speeds from such a small amount of power. He was getting similar speeds to my 243AI with 10% less juice.
Shooting 500 with the 6mm's got boring, so I jumped on the dozer and cleared a spot where we could get 850 to the steel. Loads o' fun and a step up on the challenge meter.
