I agree. The environmental torchbearers over the last 10 years really have me concerned. It seems that common sense is not only frowned upon in college (apparently, I honestly don't know where they come from anymore), but is being erased.

It's like trees, they are renewable too, but that's apparently not obvious anymore.

Or tear out the dams to save the salmon, even though rivers comprise less than 5% of a salmons habitat... Well the population is declining it must be the dams! Doh!

Oh well, that link is depressing enough, sorry to add to it.

As my dad used to say (30+ yrs in the USFS), it's only a mistake if you don't learn from it. I have to keep believing that our kids are learning.

Invest in our youth and keep learning.
