worth $500 more?

going from the IOR 4-14 to the 6-24. is it worth the extra money for a .223 to shoot to 1000 yards max on targets and maybe.. maybe hunting

It will always be worth it to YOU, if it does what you want it to do. Just think, be able to connect that shot that you couldn't before? Priceless. IMHO.

I shoot alot better groups with a 20x or better power scope. aim small miss small lol

I'm having the same internal argument regarding the 10x or 17x USO SN3. I have decided that for a few hundred more why not have something that will work with a bigger more capable cartridge in the future. Buy what you want even if it means taking longer to save. I have an awesome precision rifle sitting on my dining room table without a scope, but I will not let that force me in to making a convenient purchase.

Same here. I seem to shoot smaller groups with 20X than with lower power, even at 100 yards I'd spend the extra $500.
