Would I be wasting time swapping action with a bedded chassis?

My chassis was bedded for an action by the original owner, I sanded on it to fit my action pretty perfectly with no rocking or gaps it shoots and functions great. My issue is I’m thinking about saving for a B14r barreled action and I thought I would swap out the actions until I could afford another chassis.

Would I be wasting my time trying to use the bedded chassis with the rimfire also?

I lucked out once, maybe I can again. I know every actions different but I run a factory 700 action so I’m hoping it’s close enough.
