A used CMMG medium contour barrel, mid length gas system, 18" 1:8 twist, chrome lined in 5.56 chamber. Has 600 rounds through it, wants $220.

No, I would buy a White Oak barrel for that price, and I bet it would shoot much better than the CMMG. That is if you want accuracy, if you want the chrome lined bbl for a blasting gun, then by all means, go for the cmmg.
