I have some Hornady 338 Lapua cases. I am very new to reloading bottleneck rifle cases and have for the most part used new brass or once fired brass that I have fired. I have been reloading handgun rounds for a long time, but large caliber cases like the 338 make me a little more cautious and I'm already pretty anal.
With handgun rounds if they are dinged up I just toss them. The 338 brass is a lot more expensive. I attached a video of 3 cases. The first has a little ding in the side of the case and the second two have a partially crushed case mouth.
They look a little worse in person than they do in the video. I'm just wondering if I'm wasting cash tossing the cases.
I'm sure there is a thread similar to this but my google foo didn't find anything.
Thanks
