Many of the "charities" suffer from the same disease. It is wise to check out any group that spends tons on prime time advertising using celebs.
Now Congress wants in on the screw the vets act by passing a budget that screws military retiree pay and funds tax credits for illegals.

It's better now at 38 cents of each dollar going to veteran assistance. It was 36 cents per dollar last I checked a few years ago (plus they're anti-gun and do not like contributions from industry folks you would expect to see at the SHOT Show).
