Y'all can have these big cities. Fuck that I came from a small town in East KY, was a coal miner for 12 years. I got out of that cause of getting laid off. Dodged 3 of them then it caught up with me. I work with a major known aerospace company now. Had to move closer to the big city but from a distance. I'm prepared tho. I'm not racist I just see how some races do. You didn’t quote me, but I grew up in Dodge City.
Liberal, Garden City, and Dodge City made a triangle of spectacular violence, in the 1990’s. The gangs just moved from town to town as people got in trouble. In 2008, the Feds did a RICO case and put a lot of the main players in prison. I visited a few times in the early 2010’s. All three municipalities were significantly cleaner and I didn’t hear any gunshots throughout any of the visits. I hear some of those people are getting out and the trouble is coming back, but it’s a different world, now, and those guys are all older and more broken.

I was going to type my own viewpoint in regards to this, however there are too many glowies on this site, and i'm certain it'll be used against me at some point in the future.
A full on civil war is not likely to ever come to our land. Even a massive financial collapse wouldn't bring a civil war. We're too different of a society now than we were in the mid 1800's.
THe .gov will push their luck right to the limits every single day. They were carefully guage the line in the sand, and walk right up to it, kick a bunch of sand into the line, cross it just enough that we'll draw a new one.....but just not quite where it was. As long as they keep things going just well enough that we don't rise up against them, they get to keep their power, influence, and tax dollars rollin' in for them and their swamp creatures. If they cross the line, and we the people shit the bed, and go full retard, the .gov knows that they can't do anything at all to stop it. They will lose the very thing that they crave, power.
Politicians only have power as long as there are those who's job it is, is to enforce their will(i.e. police, LE agencies, ect).

I live in OP..........what areas or KC are talking about..........there are areas I will go thru in the day, that I probably wouldn't at night..........
My wife is from Garden City............we have kids, grand kids, and great grand kids there...........not where I would want to live, but a hell of a lot better than a lot of the cities/towns I have been in............
Liberal is an OK city nowadays.
Garden City is probably 60-70% hispanic due to all the farming.....and white guys don't pick crops or slaughter cattle as a general rule, has turned the city to shit.
Dodge City is an absolute shithole due to TRUCKERS and all the shit they bring with them (yea, whiskey tango/white trash).
I go thru all 3 cities pretty much on the regular.
Kansas City is nowhere a sane white man ever wants to go.
The rest of Kansas is a white mans dream.

Unfortunately Garden City does have some good Mexican restaurants......unfortunately, they are in Garden City.
I grew up in SoCal so I do know what real Mexican food is, and I know what GOOD Mexican food is.
It just sucks that the best of it always comes from *da barrio* (that's "the ghetto" for you that don't know).
