Legendary Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Target – .30-06 – 1954 Production & Unterl Scope

Up for sale is a classic and highly desirable Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Target rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield.
This example features the correct 24-inch heavy target barrel and factory target stock — exactly as it left the Winchester factory in the mid-1950s. Based on serial number, this rifle dates to approximately 1954.

This is a fantastic collector’s piece as-is, but also makes an ideal base if you’re looking to build a Vietnam-era USMC sniper rifle clone.

• The barrel bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling — excellent shooter.
