WTB 1911 Frame

I found a 70's series Colt Frame in a buddies parts bin, and was thinking about building it up for him. Looking for a 1911 frame, preferably a Colt to match things up, but I understand the difficulty in making that happen, so I will look at others as well. Doesn't have to be perfect, and can either be stripped or complete. Needs to a be a full size, government frame.

I've got an officers size stripped framed but that wouldn't help your situation.
Might try Caspian (well priced, good quality, and great customer service) or an 80% frame if your search stalls out. Good luck! 1911s make for a fun build.

I'll definitely check out Caspian, and I will check out Fusion Firearms as well. I've not heard about the quality of the Brownell's frames.
