I contacted the guy in MI that had an older model for $7500, he sold it last year after I spoke to him.
The $9000 AX 50 Gen 1, has over 500 rounds on it, 1 mag, but the guy isn't so sure he wants to sell.

Gen 2 has a few changes, it’s more accurate is the biggest. I held mine up to a Gen 1, you could see the differences, but it’s hard to explain. Mine shots 1/2 MOA or better to 1000yards, the Gen 1 shot around 1moa.
I don’t know the particulars, but I waited on the latest generation to come in last year & glad I did. I have one with approximately 220 on it & a unfired one.
To who? You. You’re a fool if you pay over 10.5k for an AX50 regardless of Gen, since the upcoming release of the AX50 ELR....
Yea, that AX50 ELR that’s coming out didn’t even make it to shot show this year. I bought a year & half ago being told the ELR version will be out within months.

Gen 1 shoots half an moa with honardy match. I doubt there is any accuracy differences between the gen 1 and 2, and if so they are most likely negligible. If you look hard enough you can find screaming deals on these btw. I’ve owned a few and both were under 8000, let’s put it at that

I agree with Tonsofguns, you can buy a used Gen 1 for $7500-8000, I found one Oct 2018 for $7500. I don’t believe you’ll find a Gen 2 unfired anywhere near that.
Found one a few weeks ago and the gentlemen wanted more then that and ended up trading it for a barrett?
The quality of the ax 50 demolishes the Barrett. Not even in the same weight class in terms of quality. The Barrett to me is just a 50 caliber ak
I owned one and I wish I had kept it. Awesome Sniper Rifle and mine shot 1/2 MOA and was a Gen-1.
