It's a slightly longer Long Action mag. Allows for around 3.85 cartridge lengths vs a standard LA mag which is more like 3.6" or 3.7".

So what would be the difference between the 300WM, 338, AND 300RUM. 3.850 CIP mags?

Case body is smaller on the 300WM, feed lips may need to be bent in slightly.?‍

I run .284 Win in my 300WM mags -100% reliable, no modifications.

Yeah, just wonder now what the physical differences are. They have different part numbers. Actually shorter feed lips, follower, etc.
