Site is supposedly legit and they have a fair amount of product vids on YouTube, Facebook followers, etc.

It mentions customs fees in the UPS option for 250. But nothing about it anywhere else that I saw.
Last I heard minox raised the MAP pricing to 3200 from 2800. I’m sure deals could still be had though. I’m surprised that the price on the secondary market isn’t higher for these scopes they are fantastic and I love mine.
The market in general is awful right now. You basically have to give your stuff away if you want to move it within a reasonable time frame. And then there’s the opposite end with guys selling used scopes and want near MAP for them.
Really wanting to get one as well just purchased a kahles 525i from CS really wish I knew that Minox Was gonna sell for 2250 and I would have just got that
I wouldn’t hesitate with the Minox except the one I had the turrets were pretty mushy. Not a very distinct click audibly or by feel. More like an Athlon Ares to my feel. Just picked up a Kahles 525i and I am much more impressed with the controls.
Good to hear that you love the kahles I had the 624 and loved it so I cant wait til my 525i gets here!! And yea I have heard the minox turrets are a hit and miss
My experience is opposite. Did you have a GEN1 or GEN2 ZP5?
I like the K525 turrets more but the clicks/adjustments on the ZP5 more
They don’t really have a gen 1 or 2. I’ve read people with brand new off the shelf units in the new box having bad turrets and the hard second rev, and older models that functioned much better. The one I had was new as of 08/2018. If I could go to a store and open ten boxes to pick the best turrets it might be worth a shot. One guy sent one back that had the hard second rev and they did nothing to fix it. Said it was fine.
Gotcha, my sample size is one of each. For what it is worth I traded a K525 for a ZP5. Whatever you want to call it (updated / upgraded / GEN2 / White box / ect) you had the one with the updated turrets.

I just looked and didn't find anything regarding the production date but out of the three ZP5's i've owned, all have varied in turret feel and the transition to the second rev.
The one that sold today for the 2250 was an exception for those. It did have some rash/use to it though. Typically the MR4s I've seen in like new condition bring 2600+ pretty easily. And at 2500 sell in a hour. I thought he could have easily got his 2400 asking if he held out another week or so. After the holidays it's tough for most people to swing another few grand. Unless it's a compelling price to make someone snag it even if he didn't "need" it. Or if you get into that lower bracket of priced optics you gain many more buyers.

I use the hell out of my scopes so a little rash makes a easier buy for me anyways so I don’t have worry about putting the first marks on it lol
Not sure why everyone is so shocked at my sale earlier. The minox retails for the same or less than the Schmidt’s which constantly sell on here for 2000-2400 based on condition. My friend recently bought a zp5 off here for 1900.
My ZP5 is an older one, serial 165. Turrets are very good and glass is amazing. I have seen an example of one that had mushy turrets and the glass didn't have very good resolution comparatively though, and it was newer. It seems consistency might be an issue, but I might roll the dice if the vendor I bought it from would take it back if I'm not satisfied.
Yeah like the last 5 MR4s I’ve seen sat for 24-25 and finally went at 22-23. Not sure why people are so surprised lol.
