they are out there. . . . just have to speak german. Seems the cost is 800 euro + 50 shipping + 45 tariff =.
Euro -optic and scope list want $1350 + 8% sales tax + ship = $1500 for an un-illuminated 4X optic.

I got the military HK brown = $1020 and no sales tax
