Just checked one of the major distributers and it seems that all of the Magpul Hi cap mags are gone. They had thousands in stock the Thursday. It seems there is an Obama type run on HI caps now.

Oh, that explains what the hell is going on. People were wondering around Impact guns indoor store yesterday searching for hi-cap mags for anything.

I dont know what the price increase will be but a lot of mags are going to be shipping tommorow. Since Falars post Bravo Company is now out of the magpul 308 LR.

Since those folks got shot, there might be some legislation comming down the pipe. Nothing like a tradgedy to get the wheels of gov't in motion and the people to back them. Now it is the evil "high cap mags". Kinda feels like the 90's all over again.

Well it seems the price increases are happening now. I ordered 10 C mags for the MWS at the start of this thread (how I new they were out of Magpul) and I just checked the distributer price again and the price went up a $1 each since.

Thanks for the heads up! I'd be waiting to order some .308 PMags for my recently ordered DPMS LR-308. I was able to get a half dozen through Brownells. I'd hate to get the rifle, in a few months, and NOT be able to find mags for it or have to pay an exorbitant price for mags. Really glad I did a bulk order for reloading components this past Dec.

PHFfffff, I think I will just do things as usual and wait till things calm down .
When all the people sit back and look @ there big piles of horded Hi-Caps Mag's they are sitting-on and Never Use . I will buy some, When they sell them for a loss & when Manufacturing catches up to to Demand and distributors shelves are Fat again .

With a republican controlled house and the senate dems scared they will be kicked out in two years I doubt anything gets passed.
