Saw that - half of the other soldiers they just removed the headstones and left the remains - albeit there are not many after 150 years. (Please do not ask me how I know)

Seriously though, he MOST DEFINITELY should be moved to Arlington. It is the Least we can do.
Let me guess, the city is getting some sort of Fed. Financing gimmick, because he's there. Right?

Im not saying he doesnt belong in Arlington,
but the MOH was handed out rather easily back them.
During the Indian wars(which is where he was killed) they awarded 425. During the Civil War they awarded 3485!
But no cemetary should be a dog park...thats just common sense.

During the civil war all that was required to receive the MOH was to capture the enemy flag, its a common belief that george armstrong custer was haunted by the fact that his brother thomas had two MOH's and this is what drove him to be the officer that he was (GUNG HO).
