This is the first I've heard of this story. That's the problem number one....public exposure is needed to scare the roaches away.
There is no friggin way that he should be convicted guilty. Hell...OJ killed his wife and her lover (no one disputes that fact) and the got off without a hitch b/c he had good lawyers. The Justice Dept dropped the charges against the black panthers that were already convicted of being guilty and just needed sentencing. This guy IS innocent.
All he had to do was get the NRA involved and put in calls to the Fox News crew (Bill O'Reilly, Brett Baer, Hannity, Gretchen Van Sustran, et al) to get this thing out in the forefront of the public. He would have then gotten a ton of pro bono high caliber lawyers stepping up to the plate to work for him. The public outcry would have been very loud.
