Gentleman,

I was the original owner of this rifle and purchased it from Mile High. I will help a potential buyer if there are any questions.

Seller is wonderful to deal with and always has great communications. Deal with complete confidence and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I had one just like this in tan and it was by far one of my favorite rifles of all time, what a tack driver.

GLWS OP!!!

I had mine bushed on my 2012 AX and I never had any issues with 6.5's .

The pre-14 AXs are like classics now...Awesome.

Nicely priced too.

I wouldn't sweat the LFP... most AIs don't need SFP unless you're really running overpressure loads.

The new owner can still send it in to MH and have the right side AX folder installed too if they want to update the rig a bit. They still have a few of the Green stocks available.

You guys are awesome. I love this AI and if I was going to shoot it often, I would keep it. I hope the next owner will get long use out of it and enjoy it.

Just to give the next owner a glimpse on what to expect on accuracy, here is the most recent session I had with the rifle with virgin Hornady brass.

Targets printed out were 66% of what it should have been.

I can't believe this is still here. Tempting.

PM’s responded.

I will throw in a AI RRS plate for the next guy.

A Bartlein/Tooley AX (with extras) for <$4k. 😋

(just sayin)
Exactly!

someone buy my AI Mausingfield so I can possibly grab this one. I sold my pre-14 AI AX with a 308 AINA/Tooley barrel. It was a one hole rifle.

Sold it to fund an AT. Really should have kept the AX, and saved up for an AT.

Gents... that $100 would cover an action wrench. You could then grab a Viper barrel vise...and do your own 10 minute barrel changes.

The quick-lock of the post-14 is unnecessary for 95% of users. (most people aren't changing barrels at the range, in the field, etc.)

Add in the fact you'll pay twice the price for an AXSA, it's a no-brainer for most.

Took it out to take updated pictures. There is something to be said with the pre-14 stock (I know because I have a MC as well). Love this thing.

Close pictures of the rifle, bolt head, bolt face, and accessories.

I put my 624i on it for the picture since the scope mount will be bubble wrapped for shipping. Atlas not included.

If the Vitor Company MLOK rails were compatible with the pre-2014 AX I would probably leap on this. I'm a MLOK whore and that's a must for me unfortunately. Great rifle in a great color, this post bumps it up if nothing else.

So can this be switched over to a .223 easily? Barrel and Bolt or?
Not up to speed with these.

Here’s the only way to get a .223 conversion for an AI. So yes it can be done, but whether it’s worth it to you might be a different answer.

Great question, if you are switch calibers in the .308 family - just switch the barrel.

Others require more work than I think is worth in a AX, IMHO.
