Dropping back to a 1-9 twist so that I’m not stuck to shooting solids only. Actually shot a few 300 OTM’s through it without issue but I’m guessing that was on the edge for them. I like the cartridge, really fills the gap between a 338 LM and having to step up to a whole new weapon platform to shoot things like the 375 CT.

Did you get your bolt bushed or is your factory bolt handling the pressure without piercing the primers?

My bolt is not bushed. I did pop a couple primers with 8133 on the high end of the ladder but never with rl33 or h50bmg. It is something I might do in the future but not absolutely necessary from what I’ve found.
