I believe the KC, KS engraved on the SN plate is the importer info, and the Czech Republic embossed on the side of the frame is country of origin.

The type of cover plate over the optic cut is also a tell. Smooth cover plates came on Czech pistols, where US made guns have serrated cover plates.

Free bump, didn’t realize the Czech models weren’t being important anymore. I got one of these last week from a drop shipper and it’s luckily a Czech one.
