Selling these scopes that were purchased to go on rifles that we are selling. Rifles are being sold so we don't need these optics and want them to go to a good home. Four scopes total, all NIB, never mounted and stored in a climate controlled safe for over a decade. Two each of the 4-16X56 and two of the 3-12X56. These are from the 2008 timeframe. Typical Hensoldt quality with amazing color and clarity - some of the best glass money can buy. Comes factory new with paperwork, and lens cleaning kit. Certified funds such as USPS money order, certified cashier's check or funds transfer via Zelle. Buyer pays all associated shipping costs. Scopes must ship insured and adult signature required. U.S. sales only.

How about $1700 per scope shipped? You will never find a NIB Henny anywhere else at this price.

I’m not familiar with what Henny has done with their glass technology in the last 7 years.. honestly if you put it up next to a current model would it be like looking through a MK5HD compared to a new Henny? Is a 2008 Henny going to exceed a 2018 NF ATACR? Im just trying to get a read on the clarity of their 11 year old models compared to today’s “HD” glass.. thanks for any feedback!

The glass is amazing. Still amazing. Hensoldt and S&B were the top makers in the market and their scopes weee priced accordingly. Over $3K when their closest competition was Leupold of a NF At $1000 - $1500 ballpark.

In my opinion what has happened over the years is PRS and ELR shooting grew in popularity significantly and other HD glass brands were able to put in features that Hensoldt had into their scopes. FFP variable scopes with some sort of ranging reticle are the standard now in scopes from all kinds of makers...that was not the case a decade ago. Older guys like me remember the days when a Leupold Mk4 10X was the state of the art - things have come a long way since then.
