Accessories WTT Anvil 30 for old model

I am looking to trade this Anvil 30 ball head for the old model (Gen 1) that has the non locking release. This is in great condition. Has been used but functions perfectly.

See the little piece the arrow is pointing to. The clamp lever locks and you have to actuate that little piece down to release the lever.

Can’t you just remove the lock

You can disassemble the gen2 and remove the rlok as well as the lever lock.......I've done it to all my gen2 rrs mounts. I switched to the gen2 for adjustable clamp tension(which gen1 doesn't have) but didn't like the additional features.

There’s just something I like about the simplicity of the Gen 1 heads. I feel like they even pan differently.
