    A friend ask me to locate a US marked 1911 for him.

    I rummaged around the gun room and found this very clean 1917 manufactured example. I bought it as a back up to my 1917 manufactured carry pistol but have never needed it. Just thought some folks would enjoy the pictures.

    Bottom one is my old daily carry pistol along with a Colt Woodsman that is my trapline/light weight woods carry pistol.

    Ok, that should have been in purple. What bullet from the 1911? And general velocity? I would think something like a Federal HST 230 +P.
