Are there any accuracy or brass downsides to having a Wylde chamber on a bolt gun?

I'm thinking of rebarreling my Savage to shoot 80gr A-Max and the shop has an 8 twist Wylde chamber prefit barrel in stock.

I've thought hard about 223AI, but at this point I think a standard chamber is best to keep my collection standardized.

I'm very curious about this also. I've got a model 10 action and been thinking about doing something along the same lines. I'll be interested to see some responses.

The Wylde chamber is considered a loose fit compared to a true bolt gun match chamber but with that said I bet it will shoot very well. In fact if you're not doing true benchrest competition I doubt you would see a real difference.

it's about the Indian, not the Arrow.

I built two of them, and simply put, they far exceded my expectations.
