Was curious to the quality of the x-caliber savage small shank Pre-Fit barrels. It seems that x-caliber runs sales to get their savage pre fits into that sub $300 range. Any info or honest opinions appreciated. Will be going on a Bighorn action.
X-caliber Barrels Savage small shank prefit quality?

I have not gotten a prefit from them yet but I have gotten countoured blanks that I had chambered and finished by my local smith and they have been fantastic. He also noted that there was very little runout in the bore when he was indicating them in.

I have a Savage and Remage from them and very pleased. They do not make custom jobs with dummy rounds.
