Gunsmithing x mark trigger question

I was wondering if there are any tricks to lighten the weight on an x mark trigger other than buying a new one all together. The adj. screw works like it is suppose to (to a point). would like to get it down to about 2 lbs but seems to bottom out at about 3 1/2 to 4. Any suggestions?

The Shilen and Rifle Basix triggers are very affordable, and work very well.
