With PA joining the 21st century and allowing semi autos for hunting I am currently looking for an AR-15 upper I can use with my SilencerCo Hybrid for coyote hunting. The features I have been looking for are an 18" barrel with an adjustable gas block and a 14" or longer handguard.
I stumbled across the X-Products X117 Upper which looks like it has everything I'm looking for but for the life of me I can't find any info about it across the internet. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with their uppers and also if it being a piston upper over DI would have any ill effects for shooting out to 600 yd.
