I'm looking at buying my first xlr. I know you have to run a higher set of.rings on them .Is anybody running an AR style riser and if so what is the preferred one to use on the xlr. I'll be putting a stiller tac 300 in it with thier proprietary 20moa rail and running either a razor or 50mm nightforce f1on it. Anybody running anything similar to this let me know what you are.using.

Thanks,

The cheek rest on the XLR is fully adjustable. Unless you're already committed to another style, I would give it a try before replacing it. I find it very comfortable. However, I do know a number of people like to use a modified Magpul PRS on it. With regard to rings, you'll find that with a scope objectives of that size you'll need your ring height to be in the 1.26-1.45" range, depending on exactly what you go with.
